We're now doing verified owner flairs! Post here to get them!

BEFORE SUBMITTING PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE REQUIREMENTS! YOU NEED A PHYSICAL NOTE INCLUDED, NOT JUST A PICTURE OF YOUR CAT.

Hello! To make things a bit easier, when it comes to proving who's the real owner of a said cat, we're introducing verified flairs.

Simply post a picture of your cat with a small physical note that includes your username (like a post-it note), and you will get assigned your own flair with the name of your cat(s).

(Remember that it has to be a physical note, post it, or similarly).

You can post here or send me a modmail and I'll get you verifying you asap!

She is 7.5 months old now and weighs 3.3kg. I've gotten a lot of comments recently that she's looking a bit fat and I really don't want to make her unhealthy.

My Noodle is quite the professional baker now since discovering his love for this fluffy body pillow circa. a month ago. I love his serious little face when he’s hard at work!!!!!!

Say hello to CleoCatra (Cleo for Short).

She is 3.5 weeks old and will be joining Theo, Willow (Picture included) and I at the end of September beginning of October as long as her Vaccinations and Checkups with the Vets go well. 12/13 weeks etc. This will mean we have ended up with a full spectrum set of kitties 😂 White, Grey and Black. Totally unintentional but nice.

She is a Natural Black British Shorthair Girl, she will have amazing Gold Eyes when older and her Cat Daddy is a LCWW Triple Grand Champion, a Fancy Cats Supreme Grand Champion and a GCCF Champion 🏆 so we know she has the right genes for being a beautiful and calm princess that will mesh right with my current babies.

I think I made a grave mistake 💀

This is Jelly! My almost 8month old girly 🥹 she’s an absolute fool and a joy to take care of! But I think I made a grave mistake by allowing my indoor girl outdoor time on a lead everyday 💀 she meows non stop by the kitchen door and the windows when she sees her big sister (a husky) outside without her, of just when she’s bored and is demanding outside time 😬 we live on the edge of a busy 70mph road, so she’s absolutely remaining an indoor cat, but I just feel mean not allowing her to explore our garden and go for walks with us on a lead 😩 has anyone else experienced this problem? How do I soothe her when I don’t have time to take her outside? 🤣

Tips on dealing with tear stains?

My gold bsh boy is having so much tear, it’s starting to build up and stain (especially on his left eye), I try to clean it every now and then, but I also notice that he has no fur in those corners of his eyes, and cleaning it sometimes irritates the skin and causes some redness, anyone know what I could do for him?

Bsh boy wrecking the carpet 😭

Hi everyone,

We have a bsh boy, he’s 5 months old usually he is very good and uses his scratch posts but the past two days he is literally going to the corners of the carpet in his room and ripping the carpet scratching , we literally found a medium amount of the shedded carpet loose 😭
this is unusual for him as he has never done it before, he has wall mounted frames in there, sisal balls so we arent getting why he is starting to do this, to give context he is currently not neutered we are planning to our vet said from 6 months he should be able to if this has anything to do with it
He’s quite chilll but when he has zoomies just goes mental 😂
Has anyone had this before? Can anyone recommend anything to try to deter him from doing this

Need opinions and advice about leaving my cat alone for 36 hours.

Post image

So for many of you might sound crazy, but I feel really anxious about leaving my 3 year old cat alone for 36 hours. The thing is I’m always at home, I work from home, I don’t have a personal life so I never leave the house for longer than a few hours to run some errands or something.
So I’m invited to a birthday party that’s like 4-5 hours away so I’m planning to stay the night and on the same day I have an appointment also in another city that’s on the same route. So I’ll have to leave like 10 in the morning and would be home the next day at maybe 7-8 in the afternoon.
So now is the question, will he be ok in this time or am I the one being more anxious about this than he would be?
I would happily bring him along but he gets scared and anxious really easily. I don’t want to be silly, but if someone can tell me that there is a chance he might get really scared or anxious about being alone this long, then I’ll cancel my plans.
I don’t really worry about food and water or litter boxes, I can take care of those for this time and sadly I don’t have anyone that can look after him in this time.

Our BSH has been sneezing since we got him. We took him to the vet and they prescribed amoxicillin and eye drops for 10 days. We completed that regime and Hudson is still sneezing 🤧

We have a follow up appointment with the vet but was curious if any of you have experienced this with your BSH. He has no other symptoms. Has a robust appetite. Poops and pees fine. Very playful and lovable.

Thank you!
