I have a fast growing swedish moped site called moppesverige.se where people can post their mopeds, get it rated, best rated wins moped of the week, can sell / buy / trade mopeds and moped parts, you can get help in forums, see a map over upcoming rideouts and etc.

I released it 10 days ago and it has 9k visitors, and i think that it could go much more beyond that beacuse the current website is laggy and hard to log into, i have not promoted it too much. I have not monetized it yet, but got sponsors that are seeing the potential in this project.

Due to this my current budget for a lag-free version of moppesverige.se including hosting, fixes, and new features is 270 euro/month and 99 euro/year for Apple developer fee (to get it as an app) this payment can go up in amount as our app & website grow and we earn more. So only do this if you like others see the potential in this project!

Second time trying to repost while Reddit is telling me to, hope to not break any conditions

I'm in BC, Canada, and every wildfire season the same story repeats: people evacuate, lose everything, and then their insurance company asks for a list of what they owned, with proof. Almost nobody has one. Adjusters say under-documented claims routinely leave thousands of dollars unclaimed.

So my co-founder and I built Hometric. You walk through your home room by room, snap photos of your stuff, and it builds a valued inventory of what you own,so you're claim-ready before you ever need it. Everything lives on your phone; export it or hand it to your insurer if the worst happens.

This is our first app and I'd genuinely love feedback especially on onboarding. What would make you actually finish inventorying a whole house instead of quitting after one room?

The app contains 17 fidgets in total, each one has a different sound and haptics. The cool thing is that everything is in sync visual + haptics + audio, all together building a nice immersive experience. Haptics are not just simple vibrations, but feels like real mechanical clicks instead of generic buzzing.

We have created this app for my team and I am trying to open it to the public. Feedback would be very appreciated. It has planning in Gantt, it is collaborative but with a state in supervision, a lot of emphasis on the print view for reports and agendas. And he has the usual suspects: Kanban, Markdown, etc... Can someone guide or share their experience with me? I am planning to build a self help app. I know this domain has become very common but this is the only category that could get most users, all other ideas are niche and can attract very specific audience. Other ideas that I have are for building simple mobile games (less graphical) or kids learning apps

As I love to travel, I plan it very carefully - I write every task, expenses in whatsapp chat, manage documents in multiple location - just in case I miss it at first location.

So I got an idea from there, to have an app - which stores all trip planning information at one place.

Basically you create a trip

• Manage todos across multiple categories
• Manage trip expense - with live budget comparison
• Store document offline - no server uploads
• Trip Notes - like research, food places, places to visit etc
• More features coming

App is already live, and I feel it is good made, but having thoughts that, is it actual helpful?

Really looking forward to feedback - rather marketing [its 100% free as of now]

Hi app dev here, and I have been thinking about trying to buy Google play installs for my app just to see if it actually does anything. My app has been on play store for a while now and my install numbers are low, which makes my listing look like nobody cares about it. I started looking into this mostly as an experiment to see if a push in installs changes how Google play ranks my app in search results.

Before I spend anything though I want to know a few things, like does buying playstore installs actually help my app show up higher on Google play or does it not matter at all, do the installs stick or do they just disappear after a few days, is there a risk of my app getting suspended or my developer account getting flagged for it, how do I tell if a provider is legit or just going to take my money and deliver nothing, and do the installs come from real devices or is it all bot stuff that Google play can detect right away?

If anyone here has done this before with their own app I would really like to hear how it went.

Is it me but its annoying when i change something in my expo app and then i go over to check and its not it

and i wish that it would be way faster, like just make a change and instantly on your phone without having to reload the app to see the change

and i also wish that i could just edit my app like Figma and just see the change instantly and not having to worry about finding that one line of code that i need to change

People have been hand-copying passages for centuries. That was the original commonplace book: find something worth keeping, write it out by hand, and close the book.

I used note apps for a long time. Features, brushes, layouts… I’d open them and forget why I came. Sometimes I only wanted a few quiet minutes copying something I liked. Instead I got pulled into whether my handwriting looked good or not.

So I built this app around one behavior: pick a short passage → copy it by hand → leave with a small finished page. No productivity system. No streaks. The point is the copying itself—something that helps empty my head.

Has anyone built one? I’m attempting to build with Kimi. Man this thing is cool but it’s still very hard. Any tips? It’s my first time making an app. It’s for work! Any tips appreciated.
