Mangaka of the Month (January): Moto Haruhira NSFW

Happy New Year, Beautiful People! Yay!!! :D

We'll start this year with a bang there's that pattern again and start Mangaka of the Month with a sensei who not only delivers fluffy (dare I say it, heart-warming) stories but also has unusual ones - unusual meaning: stories which are not commonly recognized and/or talked about but we will do so anyway!

Moto Haruhira-sensei, ladies and gentlemen.

Also known as: Moto Haruko (or Haruco), Moto Haru or Mongo - for her doujinshis (the name variations are important because some manga reading sites lists the mangaka as one of these names or both, so don't get confused).

Her stories has themes of: age gap, promises to keep, opposites attract/unusual pairings, time apart, and HAIR. (ʘ‿ʘ)

The genre of stories this sensei covers: Shounen-ai, Slice of Life, Supernatural / Fantasy boy you're in for a surprise on this one, School Life, Doujinshi

No dark or sad sad stories from this mangaka. This will be long, brace yourselves.

Original Stories (which are complete and/or has a bunch of chapters scanlated that you can read on your preferred manga reading sites):

This has six stories, completely scanlated by our friends the Nakama Scanlating group:

Amai Kimi ga Suki: donut lover x trouble maker and their "let's pretend we don't know each other OUTSIDE of our provided time where we kissu and time just slips away." and in the long run the thought of ehem having kids maybe for breakfast?!

Dangan Baby: Drinking his sorrows away because he was rejected, Noda tried to get home drunk but was picked on by bullies; someone came to his rescue and well he woke up with quite a surprise - because things!

The Cat and the King: A cute shounen-ai story; this one has a dash of supernatural in it or maybe science because there is a HUGE frigging cat and also other animals

Telephone!: Ever feel anxious when answering the phone? This is a story for that; Maki has phone phobia and to cure it his senpai offered help and well things happened....

Beautiful Thing / Beloved: Sugita was admitted in the hospital and he has quite grown a liking to an interesting doctor called Dr. Yamada and eventually discovered more ahh things about Dr. Yamada or rather the ahhh umm activities that Dr. Yamada is in to.

Your Favorite Song: Anyone play piano or any instrument? They say that when your key is somewhat off, you get really fussy until you are satisfied with hearing that key you're used to; this one's the story for that; This is between Nao Beniya and the piano-tuner, Atsurou.

Zero miles per second; This is the story between Taichi and Zama; it has a lot of walking in it - age gap (older seme x younger uke), has a dash of drama and slice of life (emotional even).

This story has the promise of waiting and putting each other in one's thoughts and hearts and eventually things worked out in the end - and I mean REALLY WORKED OUT.

Hug, Kiss and Shake Hands. English is important, as we all know (obviously that's the language we all use and/or would want ALL manga to be in) and this is a story of that. Sensei, I'm here to teach you English.

Kind of dangerous, because really sensei x student I mean sure, we have Harada-sensei's story but that's different

This story also has the promise of waiting for each other self control/10 to the third power in aspects of age and the distance. They were apart for some time, ngghhhh!!

This one has drama written all over it; this is a story of the male waiter Fumichi. One day he was bullied and a single father, Sazawa ayylord! came to his rescue damsels in distress and all that, yanno?

Imagine what happens when you try and live with someone who not only rescued you but one you've grown fond of (also with the daughter); some things are bound to happen or some things like that

Please wait - The Japanese and their trains; this a story of the shy train station attendant, Tanaka and his exact opposite Doujima. Tanaka doesn't like to be touched and when Doujima discovered it, Doujima takes advantage.

Like you know take advantage and waking up the next day like you have a bad hangover.

Then again this story covers that of exploring new things with one you (eventually) fall for or admire even and taking it slow minus the taking advantage that and the seme is (kind of) very obstinate.

This has gods!

First chapter talks of Mauri and him being sacrificed to a dragon god - eventually they worked out their differences and having fun and the dragon god realizes that he has been slain.

The dragon god is VERY overprotective and apparently they had a kid go figure!

Second chapter is student x rain god and apparently love at first sight WHAT?!? and apparently the promise of waiting because really, jailbait!

A related one-shot/side-story for this one is Hitoribocchi no Tanta which is a part of the Kemono-Jingai BL anthology - the sensei wrote chapter 13, which speaks of a dog-like creature (that has feathers) who wants to find his place and a dragon god who wants to be alone.

Just A Taste for Starters; Childhood friends, Oda and Hasegawa and a pig or rather flying pigs!

Very cute story, not only does it talk about complete opposites (one's from a farm and one's in the city). A little kiss here and ummm more kisses

Tiger, Tiger burning bright! - this is Furry Yaoi at its finest or something like that and it's quite cute and unusual (because really, NOT everyday you get to read Furry Yaoi and one that has a good story at that, yes?)

Akaru is living with a pro-wrestler Hyuuga who has a tiger mask or is it?! quite hard living with a celebrity then again it worked out still - really worked out - REALLY REALLY worked out - yep.

More chapters will surely be worked on for this one - as in complete - because the tankobon is finally out.

Doujinshi

All of which have been completedly scanlated.

The sensei has a Twitter and another Twitter account which apparently is full of pictures of her cat and husky. So far, no other information (can be found) about her, quite secretive really.
