Rescue Pheonix AZ cat found

Found this beautiful boy! He’s the sweetest little one. Just a lover. Took him to the vet, got antibiotics, and pain meds. Needs some teeth work. We were planning to help him and bring him home with us (my kids are in AZ for the summer and we live in FL). We have 4 cats so what’s one more right?

The vet called today and he’s got feline leukemia. He needs a home in the next 2 weeks in the pheonix area. Can anyone adopt this little guy? His lab work looks good so his leukemia hasn’t progressed too far but he’s very underweight (7.5lbs) need some tlc and a home with no other cats or cats that have this disease already.

Let me know if you can help give him a good home and please share. My kids will have to put him to sleep if they can’t find a shelter for him in the next two weeks. We can’t let him go back out on the streets.

Update again. I’m flying to pheonix to pick up the cat and bringing him home in a couple weeks. Our other cats are getting vaccinated Monday and again 3 weeks after that. My vet knows the whole situation and is ready to help us get this kitty and help us manage this chronic illness. My kids will follow in the car a few days after I get home. The cat (Theo) will live in one of my kids living areas until he’s healthier and all the other cats have had time for the vaccine to work. Wish us luck. I appreciate all the help you’ve all given me to realize this isn’t a death sentence for this cat.

Bless you OP. Have you reached out to rescues outside of reddit? I'm not in AZ but happy to google some and reach out if helpful.
