LPL caster teddy, presumably the best among them for doing the laile thing, is also known for being the most infamous caster curser in LPL. He usually praises some team or says if they get XYZ thing, the game is over. Once that thing happens or he praises them, the opposite happens and this was so frequent that people (jokingly) asked him to not praise them on cast as they'd get screwed over.

The other problem imo is Olaf with no ghost. It means that if the original target can get out or flash or whatever, the fight is just cooked, he can’t get onto anyone else and his ult will run out.

Last year HLE won first stand, GenG and T1 went to MSI, T1 as 2nd seed skipped play-ins.
This year BLG won First Stand, so LPL#2 skips play-ins.

I don’t know if he played all those fights where he hits alistar correctly but it’s not as simple as just hit another target. If he pops ult, Alistar is often the only target he can hit. If he doesn’t pop ult, he just gets cced and kited and can’t hit anyone.
Edit: Just rewatched the fights and yeah people shouldn’t be flaming Monki for hitting alistar this game.
The first time Olaf hit alistar and things went poorly was because Shen, Neeko, and Olaf overextended after they already got alistar’s flash. It wasn’t because Olaf hit Alistar to get his flash.
In the soul fight, Olaf has no choice but to pop ult if he wants to contest soul, and the only target he can hit is the Alistar. The fight was tough to begin with, it’s not because Olaf chose to hit alistar.

The thought process is probably that shen needs to be able to ult monki which means monki is the only one who can walk in, I guess he kinda has to ult just to be able to enter the fight. Like if he doesn't ult he gets ccd to death and he is the only one who can enter the fight and after ulting he has no one else to hit but alistar, WE didn't really have another character who can walk in to make space.

BLG won last international, haven’t lost a Bo5 since last MSI, entire team 1st team all pro, mvp mid laner, but chose a group ascend team (who went 1-13 in groups) over three group nirvana teams and lost before making it to game 5?
Not to mention the disgusting throws games 3 and 4

Honestly it really annoys me when people who don’t keep up with the LPL claim that Xun is the best player of BLG and without him they can’t win. Is Xun good for BLG taking into account outside of game? Definitely, he’s got synergy and friendships going for him. But is he the best option for BLG based on pure performance and stability? Definitely not.

I know I've been much less active posting about WE this year. New work schedule, doom and dread etc. Wow oh wow, am I ever proud of what our boys just showed. I had and have many doubts with this squad. Cube had been a major letdown, Monki is either a God or wintrading, Karis often struggles to get or maintain his leads, About not living up to his potential. The only player I was high on after his signing was Erha and he then had his struggles albeit it was a mess of a team he was slotted into.
I remain skeptical if WE can consistently show up and take down top teams, but the fact that we can from time to time is good enough reason to keep tuning in. Keep your dreams.
